Iconography

Overview

Apply iconography to make complex content more digestible. Like every element in our brand toolkit, iconography must be created and applied consistently and intentionally. Our icon style is clean, with minimal stroke accents when necessary. Additional icons can be sourced from a royalty-free library of icons. When sourcing icons from an external source, ensure you are following proper style and color application.

Iconography

Dos and Don'ts

Use icons to break up copy and ensure it's skimmable and easy to read.

Use icons that are relevant to subject matter and help in visual storytelling.

Apply icons small visual accents. They should not be treated like large illustrations in any layouts.

Don’t distort, stretch, or skew icon proportions by changing the ratio.

Don’t vary stroke weight and ensure icons are optically balanced.

Don’t use other colors for the fill that might limit accessibility.
